Description:
The size of the Listran estate was gradually scaled down to accommodate a shift in focus to exclusively low-yield, high quality wines. Owned today by the Creté family, the Château earned the well-deserved Cru Bourgeois status in 1988. The smell combines dominant fruits and discrete spices - strawberry, cherry and prune on the one hand, licorice and nutmeg on the other - and develops towards warm notes of cocoa, cinammon and andied orange peels! The firm tannins contribute to the solid and ripe structure of this wine. Spice flavors first dominate, then finish with a fresh fruity bouquet of raspberries and currants.
